More Beach Fun

Here are some additional pictures I received from Jen while I was home. It was so nice having the opportunity to see Gary and Darlene and the rest of the family. We had a nice time catching up and they all looked great.

Florida Vacation

Our trip to Florida was such a nice get away. We loved the condo we stayed in and the view couldn't have been better. The decor of the condo wasn't the best but everything else made up for that. Attached are a few fun pictures of our trip.

Uncle Frank

I'm sad to say my mom's brother, Frank, passed away Friday night. Mom, Jen and Maddison went home from Florida a day early so Mom could be with him in his final hours. We never expected that he would pass so quickly. It is unbelievable that everything happened as fast as it did. Frank was just diagnosed with Lung cancer around 3-4 weeks ago.

Please keep Frank's wife, Pat, and the rest of the family in your prayers. They will need them.

The first viewing will be Monday evening between 7pm and 9pm. Tuesday's viewing will be held from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm. The funeral will be held on Wednesday. I'm not certain of that time but it will be in the paper on Monday for those of you who might want to express your condolences.

This is a reminder that we should not take our loved ones for granted. It was just a few short weeks ago that we thought Frank was perfectly healthy. We lost my dad even more suddenly. Always tell the ones you love how you feel about them. Make the time you have with them count.

Florida here we come!

Cory and I leave early tomorrow morning for Florida. I can smell the salt filled air already. I can't wait to be vegged out on the beach reading a good book or just relaxing. Hopefully we'll have some fun family pics to share when we get back. It's been a while since I've taken any pictures so I'm sure I'll take a lot. We'll be back on the 17th so I'll try to post something soon after. C-ya!

Kitchen Photos

My kitchen is taking forever to complete. It's not surprising since I really only worked on it my days off. I finally have some before and after pictures to show you though. My job is done! The guys are in charge of the granite countertops and tile flooring. Hopefully it won't take them quite as long as it did me. These pictures will at least show the progress that has been made so far.
